When we decide on something big in life, we are naturally excited, emotional, nervous and optimistic. But if we are told that the decision could well define the course of our lives, skepticism would creep in, plant a seed of doubt and put us on the back foot.
These are moments when we need to tell ourselves that it isn’t the decision, but our belief in the decision and our perseverance that’ll make ‘the decision’ the right one. We need to back ourselves, have faith that we’ll eventually connect the dots and of course, we must prepare to not let regret set in if things don’t work out. Because no decision will be definitive enough for us to be finished, except when we decide to tell ourselves that.
