Republic Day.
I’m sure many ‘one-day Patriots’ will ‘celebrate’ Republic Day tomorrow. Just give this a read before you do!
At a conference earlier this month, someone asked me,
‘Dude, you’re impractical in your love for the country. Don’t you see all the f****** problems we have here?’
All I had to say is:
‘Each day, I celebrate what India has given me and work on what she couldn’t. So I really don’t have enough time to bitch about it.’
I have never said India is perfect, just like her backbone, The Constitution, that was gifted to her on the 26th of January, 1950. But, somethings can be worked on easily. Unlike the thick skinned, pessimistic and ungrateful souls that reside in my beautiful country.
