The stupid Indian man.

I am the stupid Indian man. I am the one who runs behind your cars. I am the one who waits for just one look of yours for hours. I am the one who likes and shares all your posts and observes each and every activity of yours.

But of late I realised its not worth it. Because acting at the end of the day, is just a skill. What it takes to be a superstar or an idol is a heart. A heart big enough to help the needy. A heart big enough to give back to the people that put you where you are. A heart big enough to do good.

In fact, I realised that I am a bigger star than you are (just that you are well marketed and I’m not). I earn less than you do, but I know how to give. I’ve taken less from society as compared to you, but I’ve done much more for it than you have. I try to propagate patriotism, humanity and generosity wherever I go, but you choose to propagate yourself.

You know what works for you? The fact that everyone else is a stupid Indian man too and wants to imitate their ‘superstar’.

I had once learnt, ‘with great power comes rest responsibility’ but I guess you didn’t. You could have used that power to inspire so many young minds to become responsible citizens, you could have used that money to help so many farmers to earn a living and not commit suicide, you could have done so much more for the country that made you what you are, but you chose to be ‘in’ and ‘cool’ just to keep your appeal intact. Though you have a few not-so-cool peers doing a lot of good out there, in general, you are a termite to this society.

I hope you know that for me you are no more the superstar. I gave you this title and it is only fair for me to take it back. I’d rather give it to the ones who fight for us at the border, to the ones who empower people, to the ones who help the economy grow, to the ones who wholeheartedly give.

Also, just so that you know, this stardom will be long gone after your death, but if you choose to do good, which will definitely be a tough choice, I can guarantee you 2 things, you will die in peace and be loved forever.

I hope this is a wake up all for you, or else the time is not far when you will see the more reasonable side of this stupid Indian man, which in most cases, will do more harm to your image than good.
